This morning I am listening a kinda old song by Kartier from an album called El Bachaton del Reggaeton. The song is called “La Falda” and I like it because it sounds a little different than most reggaeton-bachata mixes and has a really nice beat that makes you wanna run to a club and dance to it. You can find the lyrics to this song here: http://www.reggaetonline.net/kartier_lyrics-2 .
Kartier is one of those reggaeton artists who goes easily undiscovered by those who only pay attention to main stream artists like Daddy Yankee, Don Omar or Rakim and Ken Y. I am here to bring awareness to artist that are not quite what we would call NEW to this genre. These artists are well established in Puerto Rico and other Latin American countries.

Manuel Alejandro “Boy Wonder” Ruiz, Executive Producer of Chosen Few El Documental, is working hard to make sure that music lovers all over the United States have a chance to really understand what reggaetón is all about. Now in his mid 20’s, the single parent, born and raised in New York, has accomplished in 6 years what can take many a lifetime to achieve. When asked where he got his name from his response was “I gave that name to myself. I am always wondering about my next move. My head band is like Batman’s utility belt. Batman always has utility belt. When I go to the studio I always have on my utility belt on, and for me that’s my head band, it helps me think.” He describes himself as ambitious and self-motivated, and has proven himself to be a valuable asset to the Latin music industry.
